Brilliant and easy to use, used it for alterations only at this point but confident it will be great for dress making projects. Loved the basic stitch choice, easy threading, button holes and button sewing. Quick change foot plates takes the chore away. My favourite bit has got to be the quickness and ease of doing a bobbin. Might be because my old machine was 25 yr old but this is like going from a go-cart to an F1 car for me! Was ordered on Sunday and received Tuesday - Fantastic service

I bought this sewing machine for my wife who's had her old sewing machine for 25 years and had just fallen to bits I was in need of earning some brownie points so thought I would kill to birds with one stone. I ordered it on late Friday evening and they kept to their promise of delivering on the next working day. The machine arrived promptly at 11.00am on Monday having already been informed by the driver a couple of hours earlier After her initial surprise she had it up and running in no time at all as the machine is very intuitive and easy to operate She spent several hours putting it through its paces and in her words found it to be " Amazing" I was delighted that she was pleased by my choice However she wanted to know why I had not got her one before and made her put up with her old machine for so long...!!! 'WOMEN' you can't live with em and you can't live without em...!!!

I bought this machine to upgrade from the Singer Promise. It was delivered the next day free of charge. I have been using it for both heavy duty and fine work and have absolutely no issues with it whatsoever I would recommend anyone to buy it.

Trying to find the singer 3333 which was £200 in most shops and I'd need to wait due to working all week. Amazon not much better, I then found this site who not only delivered to my work but also did next day by DPD at no extra cost. Machine is lovely to sew with and does 23 stich types. It includes the usual extras. Will definitely recommend this website to friends.

I am very pleased with this new machine. I decided (reluctantly) to upgrade my old 1970's Singer 413 model. The 7470 is equally as sturdy and has lots of features which are great fun to use. It was helpful to be used to a "Singer" as despite the age gap the essentials are the same and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. It feels like going from a beloved vintage car to one that can park by itself. I am looking forward to many hours of sewing on my new machine. The delivery was prompt and very efficient.
