This is my first machine and I am really enjoying using it. It's the perfect weight and I'm getting on with it very well. The bobbin is really easy but the auto threader is much more difficult to use than threading by hand...if there is a knack of doing it I would love to know what it is. Its no biggy as I'm having a great time sewing -)) Emily

I am very pleased with my new sewing machine.I recently hemmed up some velvet curtains and the sewing machine performed like a dream.I didnt need to change the needle.I appreciate the ease with which I can insert the spool.

I had already decided to buy a 7463 sewing machine and reading the reviews only confirmed my decision to buy it, and I'm glad I did. The instruction booklet is easy to follow. I found it really easy to use. Love the embroidery stitches, very quiet machine compared to my old one. Highly recommended.

What can I say...? Firstly, was delivered in less than 24 hours which was very impressive. Am really happy with the machine, looks good, sturdy, straight forward and is ideal for me. Having not threaded a sewing machine since I was 11 at school, so 23 years later, had bobbin wound and was ready to go within 5 mins, the needle threaded in about 10 seconds. The instruction book is really helpful with good diagrams in which if you follow you can't go wrong. Am very happy and would definitely recommend.

Fabulous machine and realise how much I have missed a Singer. So much more control with the feet, more useful functions, stitches, auto thread cutter, lots of feet that are really easy to use. so many more functions and the one step buttonhole is fantastic. Really good machine, lots to learn yet though. Really good service from singer machines and fast delivery. Could not be happier with purchase.

Fantastic sewing machine, very smooth compared to my old machine. Great being able to see the spool and handy to top load a replacement. Automatic needle threader is a great help. Super efficient delivery as well. 10 out of 10

A brilliant machine. Bought it as an upgrade from a 1970's machine, and wow what a difference. I actually think I might be able to sew something now, at a nice slow pace, the old one went at break neck speed with no in between! Hence my lines were never straight! The stitches this new one does amazes me. Def. recommend.

I've never had an embroidery machine before and I researched a lot of them via the net and Youtube before deciding on the Futura and I'm very happy with my choice. It's easy to set up and within an hour I was sewing away on my first design. I like the fact that the screen is actually on my laptop and that I don't have to cope with peering at tiny one on the machine. The software is fairly intuitive and you can create your own unique design by manipulating and combining images. Also the Futura can read designs in other sewing machine formats ie the jef format produced by Janome. The threading of the machine has also been simplified - just one straight down channel for the thread. I really like this machine and I think for an entry level embroidery machine it's unbeatable in value and performance.

A fantastic machine! I'm in love with it already. As a total beginner, I've got a fair way to go yet, but I managed to knock up an alice band on my first go which speaks volumes about how good this sewing machine is. It also does a wonderful flashy light thing when you switch it on! ;)

I just purchased this machine at Walmart. It's the best machine ever. I had tried 2 models from Brother and returned them. This Singer is easy to use, to set up and has wonderful functions as the tacking stick button. I would recommend this machine anytime.
